OMEGA 3 SYRUP FOR KIDS

What is Omega 3?

Omega-3 can be defined as a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Why are they essential to our health? Because Omega-3s play an important role in helping our brains build new cells, this allows the absorption of nutrients and develops our central nervous and cardiovascular systems. Omega-3 even in the form of omega 3 syrup for kids also promotes healthy retinal function. We can classify the omega-3 fatty acids into three main types:

  • Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)

  • Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)

  • Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)

One of the main reasons why we must get omega-3s from food, vitamins, or omega-3 syrup in India, is because we can’t produce them on our own. Some of the best ways to get DHA and EPA are through cold-water oily and fatty fish — other choices include salmon, trout, sardines, tuna, anchovies, herring, and mackerel. While ALA is found in seeds and nuts ( especially flax seeds and walnuts) and some vegetable oils, like canola or avocado oil.

You may now know about the health benefits of omega-3 for adults, but did you know that omega-3 helps kids stay healthy, too! So, to answer the question can kids take Omega-3 for a healthier body and mind? Yes! They sure can! Omega-3s are in fact good for people of all ages, including infants in the womb. Include omega 3 syrup for kids daily and watch their health and performance improve.

Here is how kids of all ages can benefit from taking omega-3s. Let’s take a look at some of their health benefits for the kids:

Research has also shown that kids with and without ADHD improved their attention ability after regular consumption of Omega-3 fatty acid content.

: Omega-3s or Omega- 3 syrup help in the development of an infant’s brain and retinas while in utero. Throughout the pregnancy, the Omega 3s in the syrup also promote healthy weight gain and growth. Mothers who consume omega-3s while breastfeeding continue to promote healthy newborn development.

3. Reduces Asthma: Breathing problems like Asthma and wheezing often affect adults and children alike to a significant extent. Omega-3 fatty acid food and supplements like omega-3 syrup for kids help them cope with this problem. It is the anti-inflammatory benefits of omega-3 that helps treat and prevent conditions besides asthma, upper respiratory infections, rhinitis, and eczema in kids under the age of 12.

4. Boosts school performance: Omega-3s in the form of omega 3 syrup for children can improve brain function — like verbal learning and memory thereby increasing the activation of the prefrontal cortex. This helps kids fight impulsivity, improves their organizational skills, and boosts their neuro function for enhanced learning capabilities.

5. Decreases Sleep Interruptions: Kids often suffer from restlessness during their sleeping hours. Studies have shown that lower levels of Omega 3 fatty acids in the diet cause sleep problems among children. Kids consuming DHA regularly through omega-3 syrup experienced lesser sleep interruptions.

Whether it’s ADHD or cognitive abilities, Omega-3 fatty acid supplements play a very important role when it comes to kids’ health. With the right dosage of Omega-3s, even in the form of  Omega-3 syrup, you can improve their memory while boosting their learning and reading abilities.
